Dipanjan Pal is a Founding Partner at Indicus Legal and a dual-qualified lawyer with over two decades of professional experience across corporate finance, business strategy, and law, prior to entering the legal profession.

Mr. Pal has held senior leadership roles across leading financial institutions and corporate groups, where he was responsible for structuring and executing complex transactions across the infrastructure, real estate, energy, education, hospitality, and healthcare sectors. His experience spans a broad range of transactions, including fund raising, project and infrastructure financing, cross-border loan syndication, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale debt restructuring, often within highly regulated and high-stakes environments.

In these roles, he worked closely with promoters, CEOs, CFOs, domestic and international lenders, private equity investors, and regulatory authorities, and played a central role in transaction structuring, negotiations, and execution. He also possesses significant experience in matters relating to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), having advised and worked alongside multiple committees of creditors across a range of restructuring and insolvency transactions.

This experience informs a distinctly execution-oriented approach to legal advisory. Mr. Pal advises on complex structured finance and transactional matters, with a strong emphasis on commercial clarity, strategic alignment, and execution.
